I've read on imdb that there was a Hungarian TV show made in the 80's which was based on Pirx the Pilot. Has anyone seen this show? Is it worth a look?

Yes, but it made rather about 1975-1976.
As I remember it was consisting of 6 parts and
was rather funny than deep or full of feeling.
Its low technical level was the main attractive
force of it (seriously).    :) :) :D

The spaceship was enlarged drip coffee-pot, and
many other enlarged household gear performed in it (example thermos, lemon squeezer and so on).

I loved it and its music (I was child at that time).
