In czech language exists star diaries in 2 different editions and also "Vzpomínky Ijona Tichého"- part of original Star diaries.
I shoould take a look in library and find out which voyage we are looking for.

Maybe this film will be only financed by americans, because in Hungary there are movie studios where they can make films at low costs (even they are going to built something like small hollywood here).
By the way, I don´t like hungarian movies. Let me hope it will be exception.

Great post! Thank you. I have seen "Ikaria-XB I" many years ago,(and Solyaris, of course) but nothing more. Now I am going to watch all of theese

Yes, even our grand...children will have to wait I think
In my opinion, creation of synthetic brain working on same principles and with all lapses like human one is the only chance to talk to robot.

Agreed.
Before time I have downloaded software which automatically changes desktop wallpaper when my computer is on. So, in the morning, there is "red day", during day it is "blue day" and when I finish work in the afternoon and go home, it is "Solaris night"

And the book cover looks very good to me.

Yes, it´s true that Lem´s stories are not as many interferenced by regime as it could be seen by other authors (especially in another kind of literature)

Here is fictitious review on Spielberg´s movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is filmed book Powrot z gwiazd. Author was inspired by Doskonala Proznia-reviews on non-exist books. It´s very well written, I thought it is true till the end Unfortunatelly, it is in czech.
