Anyone speaks German? "Intelligenz ist im Grunde ihres Wesens ungesund" claims to be the very last interview with Stanislaw Lem, conducted by Patrick Grossmann on November 15, 2005.

I was so shocked, and one day later, I still can't believe. What to say when one of greatest mind of human kind passes by. Solaris, The Invincible, Summa Technologiae, Fiasco, all those great works witnessed about unbelievable insight into human condition in terms of universe.

Croatian leading newspapers are full of news and obituaries. This is one of those rare deaths which rings thru all circles. I don't remember such feedback since Stanley Kubrick's death, when the lady at local newspaper stand todl me "Kubrick is dead! Do you know 2001, I never understood that movie!" This is similar, and everyone are mentioning "that Solaris"...
