Despite his obvious weaknesses as a writer he will remain as one of the most valuable authors - a unique one - in world literauture. His works and lessons will never be forgotten...

I am not one who can agree with this saying.Like a star which disappeared and shines a long time after its collapse  so we shall take Stanislaw Lem.Geniuses never die they immortalize themselves in their works.

 Even after his death he`s got a lot of things to say.

I do wish I believed in life after death...

Simply start to believe. There's his work which influenced so many people, and, most important, his family. You don't need any kind of religion to believe in life after death. He's still there... Sort of.

I just like to say what all of you have said: Lem's death means a huge loss for all of us. But if nature can produce people of his character and intellect, I won't give up believing in mankind at all. (I've been reading his books since the age of 14 years.)

It is really difficult to depict all my feelings. The only thing that can help us to outstand this tremendous event is that this person always will stay in our memory as one of favourite authors and one of the greatest philosophers of the present times.
